Piesendorf is approx. 8 km from Zell am See and 5 km from Kaprun and therefore has all the advantages of the Europa-Sport Region, that includes a glacier skiing area, a normal skiing area, the Zeller lake, a large golf course with 36 holes which will be expanded in the near future, a cross-country ski trail which runs from Zell am See to Krimml and much more. In the next few years a new Gondola is planned giving access to the Schmittenhöhe.
